EngAGE thanks AARP for their important grant of $26,500 to develop a white paper on policy on how to replicate our model and make a business case for intergenerational and arts-and-aging programming in affordable housing in America. The paper is sponsored by AARP’s Office of Policy Development and Integration. More here.
EngAGE would like to thank The Eisner Foundation for its generous $150,000 grant in support of our program, EngAGE Across Generations, which improves the quality of life for more than 750 children from grades K-11, and for over 750 low-income seniors, through intergenerational education and mentoring collaborations. Then NoHo SAC residents donate more gifts and help wrap them for the children who live at Vermont Senior Apartments. There's a beautiful Christmas tree and Santa shows up in person to deliver the gifts! (more)
