EngAGE Founder and Executive Director Tim Carpenter celebrated his 55th birthday on February 2nd! Check out the EngAGE Blog to see what he has to say about this significant event.

This excellent and inspiring new video from Aroha Philanthropies features, among others, EngAGE C.O.O. and teaching artist, Dr. Maureen Kellen-Taylor. Aroha Philanthropies is generously supporting EngAGE's expansion of our programming to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Artists from the Burbank Senior Artists Colony and NoHo SAC will be featured in an exhibit at the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena. Opening reception is on Saturday, January 16th from 3 to 5 PM. Get details about this exciting exhibition, including a list of artists, here. The exhibit closes on February 14th.

EngAGE Founder and Executive Director Tim Carpenter was honored to receive his Durfee Foundation 2016/17 Stanton Fellowship award on 12/10 at a ceremony at the Japanese American National Museum, Los Angeles, CA. The Durfee Foundation’s Stanton Fellowship provides up to six fellows with $100,000 each over a two-year period “to think deeply about the intractable problems in their sector, and to tease out solutions that will improve life for the people of L.A.” Tim will look for the next big idea to fuse housing, environmental design, and program design to benefit healthy aging.
